A flared children's skirt made of cotton and knitwear.

With the beginning of spring, we hide our winter clothes and happily take out our spring and summer dresses and skirts. Children most often outgrow their spring clothes and have to buy a whole new wardrobe. Sew a quick and simple skirt for them that will flow beautifully when you twist it.

For the skirt, we will need a suitable fabric , elastic for the waist and sewing threads . The skirt can be made of patterned and plain cotton , stretchy viscose knits , or cotton knits . Let your imagination run free.

Sewing procedure:

1. first we prepare the cut according to our instructions

2. place the prepared cut on the fabric , outline and cut

3. sew the central seam, clean and iron

4. measure the circumference of the waist and cut a strip of fabric, which we stick to the tape with adhesive

5. iron the belt as desired and pin it to the back of the waist. We sew at the sewing point and iron the seam in the direction of the tape

6. we turn the belt inside out and pin it under the seam and stitch in the edge

7. we pass the elastic measured according to the waist through the hole left in the stitching and then sew the hole

8. clean the lower edge of the skirt and iron it towards the reverse side

9. we sew the edge of the skirt in the region

We will iron the skirt completely and we can welcome the spring weather in a new skirt.
