School is calling and it's high time to sit down at school again or go to kindergarten to meet friends.

The extended holidays flew by like water and the time of finding things for school has begun. The list is dangerously long and crayons, rulers, notebooks of all sizes are honestly checked off, and we mustn't forget new tracksuit bottoms and exercise clothes.

A ruler and crayons will be hidden in a pencil case, sewn into a new school bag, but a handy bag with a backpack will be needed for backpacks and exercise clothes.

It is possible to buy a baby bag, but there is a risk that a lot of children will have the same bag and the world is in trouble.

Create a 100% cotton duffel bag with us, or for exercise clothes that your child won't confuse.

For the bag we will need:

0.5 m of cotton fabric with a pattern (cut 2 x 35x40 cm rectangles)

0.5 m of plain cotton canvas (cut 2 x 35x40 cm rectangles)

cord or woven fabric

sticky cravings

face marker

thread to the color of the fabric

Sewing procedure:

1. paint a face onpatterned cotton fabric and cut out rabbit ears
2. first we sew the ears , which we fold face to face and sew around the perimeter , leaving the bottom edge free to turn the ears
3. turn the ears inside out , iron them and decoratively stitch them in the edge
4. fold the rectangles ofthe patterned fabric face to face and sew them together on the sides and at the bottom . In the side of one side , we will leave a 2 cm unsewn opening , which will be used to thread the drawstring through. The opening is 10 cm from the top edge .
5. we put plain cotton face to face on top of each other and sew it on the sides and in the bottom part . We leave an opening on the side for turning.
6. turn the bags inside out and put them inside each other face to face, pin them, insert the tabs and sew
7. turn the bag inside out through the hole left in the side , compare and iron
8. measure 10 and 12 cm from the top edge and stitch along the perimeter to create a tunnel for threading the cord through
9. we pass the string through the opening and iron it

If you decide to sew a backpack instead of a bag, just sew laces into the sides.

You can use the new bag and backpack not only for school and kindergarten, but you can pack toy cars for the trip, clothes for a doll, or crayons with a block in it.
