BIG SERIES OF FASHION STYLES: Bohemian style

"Bohemian style is for those who have the ability to appreciate beauty, deep romance, know no boundaries and for whom the world is their own creation." This is how designer Savannah Miller described boho (bohemian) style, and we can only agree.

Boho or bohemian style in Czech contains elements of hippie and gypsy and has been associated with bohemian nomadic culture since the mid-1950s.

The biggest fashion mecca for boho is London, where the actress Sienna Miller, Marie-Kate Olsen or top model Kate Moss have taken a liking to this style.

Basic elements include airy long skirts (especially white ), bold belts, long knitted sweaters, furry vests, embroidered and lace blouses, metallic accessories, cowboy boots and so-called "baggy fashion". Furthermore, tights, leggings, embroidery, beads , fringes and purses are an integral part of a proper bohemian outfit.

The layering of ideally colorful patterns and pastel colors is also typical for boho-chic .

Bohemian style is very relaxed and informal, dominated by soft colors, loose, flowing cuts and light materials. It is true that it does not fit always and everywhere, but elements of the bohemian style should be in every wardrobe. They are trendy, sexy and feminine, yet comfortable and pleasant. :)
