Almost the whole world is dealing with the use of single-use plastics. The pollution of our planet is becoming unbearable, and at the same time we could alleviate it by, for example, stopping the use of single-use plastics such as plastic bags for fruit, vegetables, straws, coffee cups or even plastic boxes in which we take food from restaurants. And it's that simple! It certainly won't hurt us. :)
What we will need: a piece of tulle (or old curtains), a piece of solid fabric for the bottom ( canvas, cotton, linen ,...), a needle and thread, an elastic band (string or bow) for a loop, fabric for a label and a marker (choice of each if will write on the bags)
1. We cut the part for the bottom measuring 28x16 cm and the upper part measuring 28x20 cm.
2. Place the upper part to the lower part, face to face, and sew 1 cm from the back.
3. We turn it back inside out and sew in the hem.
4. Sew a "patch" onto the upper part of the bag.
5. Sew the side edges of the bag for 1 cm.
6. In the upper edge, fold the fabric over 1 cm and stitch in the edge.
7. We pass the rubber band through the tunnel we created and put a stopper on the ends.
8. And done! :) We can finally go shopping.
