1 m of solid fabric ( canvas )

0.6 m of lining fabric ( cotton fabric )

Sewing procedure:

• Place all the parts on the fabric, add 1 cm for the seams , transfer the marks and folds from the cut to the fabric. We glue the outer parts of the handbag with adhesive for strengthening and better shape retention.
• Bend the long edges of the strap 1 cm and iron . Then fold the strap in half and iron it .
• According to the cut , we bend the upper part of the pocket twice and sew decoratively. According to the marks, we place the pocket on the face of the handbag and pin it .
• Pin iron-on straps to the parts of the handbag according to the markings (we will cover the edge of the pocket) . We will stitch in the hem and together with it we will also stitch the straps . We will sew the straps to the parts only to indicate the fold of the fabric.
• On both parts of the handbag, measure the center of the fold and then its half. This is where the magnetic closure will be located.
• We sew the bottom of the handbag face to face to the parts and then sew decoratively from the top. We turn the handbag inside out and sew the sides together .
• According to the cut , we draw a triangle on the bottom , which we fold and turn upwards , the point of the triangle can be stitched decoratively on a machine or by hand .
• In the same way, we will sew the lining, which is cut without the upper fold. At the side of the lining, we leave an opening for turning the entire handbag.
• Sew the upper part of the handbag with the lining face to face. We turn it through the left opening and straighten it. The upper edge of the handbag can be decoratively stitched .
• Sew the opening in the lining of the handbag.
