For the baskets we will need:

cotton canvas - we chose patterned and plain colors and the consumption depends on the size of the basket

adhesive hardening - for better shape retention

sewing threads , pins , chalk

Method:

1. First, we create a cut according to the instructions, add to the seams . Trace the cut on the fabric and the adhesive backing, cut out and iron the adhesive backing onto the back of the selected cotton fabric.

2. Place the parts of the basket on top of each other and sew them together on the sides and in the bottom part . We leave an opening for turning the inner basket and iron the seams.

3. In the next step, we will sew the corners - we will put seam on seam, pin and sew .

4. Insert the upper and lower basket face to face and sew the upper edge .

5. Turn the left opening in the inner basket to face, align and sew the opening.

6. At the upper edge, we replace the seam, iron it and can also decoratively stitch it.

We have the basket ready and you will be able to make quite a few of them over the weekend . Just think about how big we need and get to work. A rainy weekend will immediately seem more cheerful.
