In a few days, the school gates will open for us, and among the necessary equipment of every schoolchild is a double-decker pencil case with crayons, markers, a sharpener and an eraser that really erases and does not smear. But there is one problem with two-story pencil cases, and that is: ON WHICH FLOOR DO I HAVE THE GREEN CRAYON THAT I NEED RIGHT NOW!!!

In this article, you'll learn how to sew a rolling pencil case from cotton fabric that will help you keep your school supplies organized and easily accessible. A rolling pencil case is ideal not only for school use, but also for traveling or visiting grandma during the holidays. In addition to the instructions for the basic rolling pencil case, you will also find different variants for beginners, advanced seamstresses or environmentally friendly versions. Finally, you will learn how to use fabric scraps to make other useful and original items, such as cushion covers, handkerchiefs, protective book covers, shopping bags or little baskets.

For a rolling pencil case we will need:

cotton fabric

sticky cravings

rubber band 3 cm wide

chalk , sewing threads , pins and needles

Method:

1. We draw all the parts on the cotton fabric according to the attached instructions and stick them with an adhesive for strengthening.

2. First, we will sew a decorative strip on the pencil case . On each long side of the wider strip of teddy bears, we sew a strip of clouds. Iron the resulting seam and bend the edges 0.5 cm .

3. On the outer part of the pencil case , we draw where the center passes and attach a sewn decorative strip to it, which we pin. Sew the strip to the outside of the pencil case.

4. Spread crayons, markers, an eraser with a sharpener on the inner glued part of the pencil case and draw the placement of the pencils.

5. In the place where the pencils are distributed, we pin the rubber according to the crayons and sew it on the machine .

6. Sew a pocket to the lower part of the inner part so that nothing falls out. We cut a strip of fabric, which we stick on, fold it in half and attach it to the edge . We sew in several places to create a pocket.

6. From the selected fabric , we will sew two cords for tying the pencil case . We will pin the sewn strings to the location of the rubber as shown in the photo . The laces can be replaced with a rubber band.

7. Place the upper and lower parts of the pencil case face to face and sew them together. We will leave an opening for turning in a large part .

8. Turn the pencil case inside out through the opening left, iron the edges and sew decoratively.

Now all you have to do is put everything that belongs in the pencil case and you can go to school, to an art course, or just go out into nature and paint a blooming flower. With the help of a rolling pencil case, you will never have to think about which floor is what and you will see everything at a glance.
