1.5 m - cotton knit - we chose GOTS kerosene cotton knit

0.3 m - knitting (again we reached for GOTS knitting , which matches the color of the cotton knitting )

Instructions for sewing a circle skirt:

1. First, we draw the cut of the skirt , which will be according to your measurements and desired length.

2. Place the cut on the folded cotton knit , outline and add 1 cm to the seam at the waist and to the bend of the bottom edge of the skirt . We will cut a strip from the braid , which will be 2x the height of the final strip .

3. We fold the braid in half and pin it face to face of the skirt and sew it all together. You can sew on a special sewing machine, but also on a classic one using an elastic stitch.

4. On the reverse side of the bottom edge, glue a strip of linen to strengthen and prevent unsightly twisting of the bottom edge.

5. Clean the bottom edge, use an iron to turn the left seam allowance inside out and decoratively stitch the edge.
