Some of the most beautiful pareos in the world are made in Bali, and all the patterns you can see on the website were hand-picked on the island promised to the gods, sun and peace. We had the opportunity to see how the entire production takes place, to see under their hands and bring you a piece of this beautiful world. It is purely handmade by local residents and every piece is original. For these reasons, it is possible that some may have printing imperfections that are not grounds for complaint.

What are parea patterns?

When you first look at parea from Bali, you will be attracted by the typical colorful floral patterns , such as orchids or lotus flowers , which remind you of the rich and diverse flora of the island.

Not only flowers belong to the island, but also their typical ornaments , which are inspired by traditional arts such as carving, batik and painting . Colorful and intricate ornaments remind of the island's rich culture and give the pare a unique and exotic look.

One of the typical elements of the Balinese pareo is the fringes along the edges . Fringes in the color of the pareo add playfulness and lightness of movement. In addition to the fringes, parea can be sewn with silver sequins , which shine beautifully when the sun hits them.

How to wear a pareo and what material is it made of?

The Balinese pareo is made of pleasant and soft viscose , which is airy and light to wear.
